Artist Steevan Salvat has created a stunning new series of illustrations for his project titled “Mechanical / Biological” which finds him imagining the innards of crustaceans to be machine-like, full of intricately drawn gears and components. These gorgeous works of art remind me of thinking, as a child (ok sometimes still), that perhaps, I myself, was made up of mechanical parts with a crew of tiny individuals working day and night to keep me going.
